AAS-Iraq Distributes Gifts to the children of Displaced Families in Erbil
On the occasion of Christmas and New Year's Day, and by the support of the Assyrian Aid Society of America and the Iraqi Christians relief Council, the Assyrian Aid Society Society-Iraq and in coordination with the Assyrian Women Union distributed on Wed, Dec. 24th 2014, the Christmas gifts for the children of displaced families from Mosul and Nineveh Plain, living in the Ankawa Mall.
This distribution included nearly 250 children and the distribution attended by Father Emmanuel Adil, the responsible for the families in the Mall, Mr. Imad Dadiza and Mrs. Romy Yousif, Society's members, Mrs. Wardiya Tamriz, Mrs. Zuhira Casper and Mrs. Susan Youkhana members of Erbil branch for the Assyrian Women Union.
at the beginning, Father Emmanuel gave a word congratulated the children on the occasion of Christmas and thanked the members of the Society to this beautiful initiative, which introduced the joy in the hearts of children, then Ms. Romy congratulated on the occasion of Christmas, the attendees (the parents and children), wishing them return to their homes safely and hoping the new year be the year of peace and safe for all.
