On Thursday, October 10th, 2013 on the tour of Society's delegation, headed by Mr. Ashur Yoseph, president of the Assyrian Aid Society of America to Iraq, the delegation visited Nineveh Plain, where he visited the Ibn El-ebri Assyrian School and the Hunain ibn Ishac Assyrian School, and met with the management and teaching staff of these schools, then he went to the kindergarten of Mar Afram, thereafter the delegation visited Baghdida, where he visited the headquarters of the Assyrian Democratic Movement and was received by Mr. Jevara Zaia, the responsible for ADM of Bakhdida branch and a number of cadres and members of the movement then went delegation to the building of Ashur radio and TV and met with Mr. Wesam Joseph, and number of workers in the radio.

 

On October 11th, 2013 , by the attendance of Mr. Ashur Eskrya the president of the Assyrian Aid Society of Iraq, Mr. Ashur Yoseph visited the Archbishopric of the Assyrian Church of the East in Dohuk, there they met with Mar Isaac Yousif, Bishop of Dohuk and Russia for the Assyrian Church of the East, During the meeting they touched on the situation of our people in Iraq in general, as well as the activities and reconstruction work for the Church in Dohuk during the past years, the delegation was briefed on the stages of reconstruction of the Virgin Mary Church in Dohuk, which is considered a monument towering for Assyrian Church of the East in Dohuk. On the same day, the delegation visited the ancient city of Khanis and Sennacherib Dam.
