AASI President meets the Australian Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN

May 16 Wednesday, at the UN headquarters in New York, Mr. Ashur Sargon the President of the Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq met Ms. Philippa King, the Australian Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, on the Aborigines art show that held by the Australian Permanent Representation in New York in cooperation with the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Bolivia within the activities of the 11th Permanent Forum for Indigenous Peoples, at the meeting that been through the Deputy Permanent Representative of Iraq to the UN, Dr. William Ishaiah Aodisho, Mr. Ashur Sargon thanked Ms. Philippa King, for the humanitarian assistance that Assyrian Aid Society of Australia provides in fields of supporting the education, culture, health and agriculture of our People in Iraq. It should be noted that the Assyrian Aid Society in Australia is a non-profit organization formally registered in the state of New South Wales, Australia.
