AASI meets the Permanent Forum for Indigenous People

During the Permanent Forum for Indigenous People in New York, the President of the Assyrian Aid Society Iraq, Mr. Ashur Sargon met Ms. Paimana Hasta member of the Permanent Forum for Indigenous Peoples, which is the highest Council concerned with issues of indigenous peoples, by the attendance of Mr. Younadam Youkhanna and Mr.William Aichaia odisho Deputy Permanent Representative for Republic of Iraq at the United Nations, the meeting discussed the mechanisms of forum, the way to choose the forum's members from representatives of indigenous peoples and representatives of various countries and the outlook of future cooperation.
