On September 18, Mr. Ashur Sargon, the President of the Assyrian Aid Society of Iraq met Dr. Sargon Issa, the President of the Assyrian Aid Society in the city of Los Angeles and the members of the Assyrian Aid Society there. In the evening the same day a lecture was held for the activities of the Assyrian Aid Society in Iraq and the most prominent projects implemented by the Assyrian Aid Society, especially in the field of supporting the Assyrian education and the dormitories. The meetings also included visiting a number of churches of our people in the city, as well as the AASI president met a number of patients who were sent for undergoing treatment in hospitals of Los Angeles, and in coordination between the Assyrian Aid Society of Iraq and the Assyrian Medical Committee in America.
