With the start of the new academic year 2017 - 2018, in its relentless quest of bringing joy to our students and support their families. The Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq, in cooperation with the International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) and World Lutheran Relief, distributed the school supplies to our students of all grades of study in the governorates of Dohuk, Erbil and Nineveh Plain villages.

 

On Oct. 24th, 2017, the Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq distributed the school supplies to 840 students of Assyrian schools of (Hammurabi Basic school and Yazandukhet basic school) in Ainkawa.

 

On Thursday 25 October 2017 and onwards, the school supplies were distributed to the schools of our displaced students (more than 4000 students) who have been recently returned to their areas in the Nineveh Plain, the distribution included schools (Ashur High School for boys, Maryam Alathraa high school for girls,  Ur High School for Girls, Alhamdaniya secondary school for girls, Taghlub secondary school for boys, Mar afram Syriac secondary school, Ashur Banipal Assyrian School, Al-Zawra Primary School, Al-Tahra private School for Girls, Ur School for Girls and Boys, Rasan Mixed Primary School, Qaraqosh Elementary School and Najd Primary School) in Bakhdida district.

 

On Monday, Oct. 30th, 2017, the school supplies were distributed to 380 students in Karamlis Secondary School in Karamlis village.
