AAS-Iraq supports our students with the beginning of the new school year
With the start of the new academic year 2017 – 2018 and in order to bring joy in the hearts of our students and support their parents. The Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq, in cooperation with the International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) and Lutheran World Relief, distributed the school supplies to our students of all grades of study in the governorates of Dohuk, Erbil and Nineveh Plain villages.
On Wednesday, Oct. 11th, 2017, the Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq distributed school supplies to (160) students of Assyrian schools of (Zahrira high school, Lamaso basic school in Deralok and Komani primary school in the Komani village).
On Thursday, Oct. 19th, 2017, the school supplies were distributed to 175 students in schools of Marga high school and Hizaneh Basic School in Nahla area and Sarwaree School in Aqra).
On Saturday, Oct. 21st, 2017, the school supplies were distributed to students of (Shamiram High School, Ashurban Primary School in the district of Diana and Arbaeilo High School and Ur basic school in Ainkawa, Erbil governorate).
