AAS-Iraq in an inspecting visit the effects of destruction in the monastery of Mar Behnam and his sister Sara and the monuments of the historical city of Nimrod

Mr. Ashur Eskrya, the President of the Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq, accompanied by the media activist Ms. Hille Hanso from Estonia, Ms. Nada Benjamin, member of the Assyrian Aid Society of Canada, Mr. Edrees Mirza President of Babylon Aid Society and Mr. Patrus Isho, in charge of the Relief and Humanitarian Aid department at the Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq, visited the Nineveh Plains - Al-Hamdaniya district on Wednesday Apr. 26th 2017, where they inspected the effects of destruction and sabotage caused by criminal gangs of ISIS in the monastery of Mar Behnam and his sister Sara and the monuments of the historical city of Nimrod during the invades of these gangs to the areas of our people in Mosul and the Nineveh Plains for more than two and a half years.
