The Chaldo-Assyrian youth union continued its campaign on December 13, 2016 to clean and prepare our villages and towns in Nineveh plains with support from the Assyrian aid Society and the Iraq Christian Relief Council. The campaign covered cleaning the streets and painting the curbs from the entrance of Telsqof to the end of the city park and from the beginning of the market street to the other end of City Park. More than thirty members of the union took part in this campaign beside volunteers from the town. This campaign will continue to cover other towns and villages of our people in Nineveh Plains; Batnays, Baqofa, Bartella, Bakhdeda, Karmlish and Basheeqa.

The main purpose of the project is to clean and prepare these areas for the return of their inhabitants and erase, as possible, all the traces that was left by ISIS terrorists.

This campaign was started by the youth union on December 4, 2016.
