The Assyrian women union distributed Christmas gifts for the children especially those from IDPs families at Jesus the Child house Kindergarten of the Dominican sisters of Saint Katrina in Ainkawa during this past Christmas time. This activity was organized with support from Iraqi Christian Relief Council and coordinated with the AASI. A delegation of Mrs. Marleen Yousif; who is in charge of the union’s branch of Erbil, Mrs. Rome Yousif; AASI representative on Erbil, Mrs. Susan Youkhana; who is in charge of the media affairs in the union, Mrs. Dunia Zaiah; member of the union accompanied by Santa Claus visited the Kindergarten to distribute the gifts for 488 kids. Sister Ban; manager of the Kindergarten thanked the delegation and the ICRC, AASI and AWU for presenting the gifts to the children.
