On Saturday, Nov. 20th 2016, Mr. Ashur Eskrya president of the Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq received at the headquarters of AASI a delegation from the Christian Aid Organization; The delegation included Mr. Sartip Abdullah the emergency program officer in Iraq, Ms. Zara Mesbah emergency program in Iraq and Ms. Madara Hettiarachchi Head of Humanitarian Programmes in Asia & Middle East, and Mr. Rob Wainwright, Country Programme Manager of Syria, Iraq & Lebanon for Christian Aid organization, where Mr. the president of AASI talked with the CA delegation on the situation of displaced people of Mosul and Nineveh plain and their difficult conditions, Also Mr. Ashur discussed with the delegation the future projects, and the plan reparation for after the liberation of Nineveh plain areas and the city of Mosul, in addition to highlighting on the programs and activities carried out by the AASI in providing humanitarian aid to the displaced families across the provinces of Dohuk and Erbil.
