On Oct. 25th 2016, The Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq implemented a distribution of humanitarian aid to displaced families of Mosul and Nineveh Plain in Sorka village - Semel district, where the distributed aid included providing of food baskets for (80) of displaced families in Sorka village, where it is worth mentioning that the distribution of this aid has been supported by Iraqi Christian Relief Council, Project AWAKEN powered by Philos Project and in coordination with the Assyrian Aid Society of America.
