AAS-Iraq receives a delegation from the Council of Christian relief organization in Iraq and the Philos Project at AASI's headquarters in Dohuk
The president of Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq, Mr. Ashur Eskrya received at the headquarters of AASI, on Feb. 19th 2016, Mr. Robert Nicholson - Executive Director of Philos Project, Luke Moon - Deputy Director of Philos Project, Ms. Juliana Taimoorazy - Director of Iraqi Christian Relief Council, Ms. Violet Khamoo – ICRC Board Member from USA, where the President of the AASI, by the attendance of the administrative board of the Society, talked with the delegation about the situation of our people in the homeland and the way to continue on providing aid to the displaced people of Mosul and Nineveh plain, then the delegation went to the dormitories building of AASI for to visit the conditions of displaced families, then the delegation visited Semel district at the Assyrian massacre site of 1933, Shiyoz village and Navkindala village in Zakho district, in addition to a number of parties and institutions of our people and Assyrian schools in Dohuk.
