The Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq implemented a project of establishing camp for displaced people from Mosul and Nineveh Plain in Shiyoz village / Semel District, in which the constructional works of the camp started in January 2016 and reached to an advanced stage (50% of work process) and included the ground-leveling work and the creation of the site preparation and other works in addition to installing the caravans which consists of (44) caravan dedicated to displaced families from Mosul and Nineveh plain, as the allocated area for implementing this projects is (5,000 m2). The project was implemented with support from SALT Foundation, Evangelical Lutheran churches in Germany, Assyrian Aid Society of America, Iraqi Christian Relief Council, Philos Project, Discovery Church and Institute for Global Engagement.
