AAS-Iraq receives president of Assyrian Aid Society of Australia in headquarters of the Society in Dohuk
On Nov. 24th 2015, President of the Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq Mr. Ashur Eskrya received in his office Mrs. June Jako president of the Assyrian Aid Society of Australia by the attendance of administrative board of AASI in Dohuk
Where Mr. Ashur Eskrya and Mrs. June Jako talked about the situation of our people who have been experienced suffering and displacement from Mosul and the Nineveh Plain during the last period, and the assistance provided by the AASI in alleviating their suffer; for its part, Mrs. Jako confirmed the continuation of the AAS-AU to provide support to our people displaced. As Mrs. Jako accompanied with Mr. Ashur visited Alqosh area, as the AAS delegation went in inspection visit to the construction project of Alqosh Cultural Society building, in which AAS participates in contribution to accomplish the project.
