Meeting of AAS-Iraq's president with the Italian consul in Erbil
On Sep. 30th 2015, Mr. Ashur Eskra president of Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq met with Mr. Carmelo Ficarra Head of the Italian Consular office in Erbil, where Mr. Ashur talked with the Italian consul about the conditions of our displaced people who have been currently spread in different regions and relief operations carried out by the Society in providing humanitarian aid for those displaced People, and the role of civil society organizations in alleviating the suffering of the displaced, as well as the Society's role in providing support for the Assyrian Education Process. As AAS-Iraq's President discussed with the Consul on the humanitarian situation in Syria in general, and the areas of existences of our people particularly in Khabour, in light of the abduction of many Assyrians families by the terrorists of ISIS.
