In order to provide humanitarian aid to the refugees & displaced families from Syria, who living in different areas in the province of Dohuk, by the support of (Institute for Global Engagement and the Cradle Fund) in coordination with the Assyrian Aid Society of America), the Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq provided humanitarian aid which included the distribution of food baskets for (55) of displaced families from Syria whom are living in villages and areas of (Zakho, Fishkhabour, Sapna, Semel & Shekhan), where the distribution was implemented at the headquarters of AASI in Dohuk on May 17th 2015, by the attendance of Mr. Ashur Eskrya President of the AASI, Mr. Chris Seiple, Head of Institute for Global Engagement and Mr. Mark Christensen.

 

For their part, the displaced families expressed their thanks and gratitude to AASI for its efforts in providing this humanitarian aid.
