AAS-Iraq receives a delegation from the church of England
On Wednesday, Mar. 16th 2016, the president of the Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq Mr. Ashur Eskrya receives at AASI Headquarters in Dohuk a venerable delegation from the Church of England, the delegation included The Rt Revd Christopher Chessun - Bishop of Southwark, The Rt Revd Nick Baines - Bishop of Leeds, Bishop Christopher Cocksworth - Bishop of Coventry and Rev. Giles Fraser – Priest and Guardian columnist, in addition to Ms. Louise and Mr. Sartip Ali from Christian Aid (CA) organization from UK, where Mr. Ashur discussed with the venerable guests on the role of AASI in providing aid to displaced families since the beginning of the crisis of displacement our people after two years of control the terrorists of Daash (ISIS) groups to the city of Mosul and Nineveh plain, where the Society had and still big role in providing relief aid to displaced families, in addition to other activities.
