On Oct. 21st 2015, the President of the Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq Mr. Ashur Eskrya during his visit to the city of London, Ontario, met with representatives of evangelical churches in Canada, Mr. Ashur discussed with representatives of the churches about the condition of our displaced people and the tragic circumstances in which they live away from the their historical areas in which are under control of terrorist of ISIS, (Mosul and the Nineveh Plain), as Mr. Ashur spoke at the meeting about the activities and programs implemented by the AAS-Iraq by the support of evangelical churches in Europe and America.

 

In another meeting, Mr. Ashur met with Mr. Mirza Ismail President of the Yezidi Human Rights Association in Canada, the meeting dealt with the suffering faced by the our displaced people and Yazidis in the displacement crisis and the occurrence of a large number of the kidnapped people whom are in the hands of terrorist of ISIS.
