On Saturday, May 16th 2015, Mr. Ashur Eskrya president of Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq, received the delegation of the Institute of Global Engagement, which included Mr. Chris Seiple director of the Institute and Mr. Mike Christensen, as the visit of Mr. Chris is the third for northern Iraq comes under inspecting the conditions of the displaced people of Mosul and Nineveh plain after the events of last June and followed by controling of Terrorists of ISIS on Nineveh province and the displacement of many families from their areas. The delegation of Mr. Chris visited several areas in Dohuk province, including the villages of Barwar and Sapna areas and a number of living centres for the displaced families in the city of Dohuk.
As Mr. Chris participated in the relief program implemented by the AASI for Relief and provide humanitarian aid for Syrian refugees in Dohuk province, which was implemented on May 17th 2015 at the headquarters of the Society, with the support (Institute for Global Engagement and the Cradle Fund) and in coordination with Assyrian Aid Society of America.
