In order to plant the joy and happiness in the hearts of children who have been displaced from Mosul and Nineveh Plain and who still living in difficult and degrading conditions, the Assyrian Aid Society took the initiative, and by the support of the Assyrian Aid Society of America and the Iraq Christians relief Council, the Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq and  in coordination with the Assyrian Women Union, to implement a special program of distribution the gifts to the kids on the occasion of Christmas where the program included more than 2,500 boys and girls in Dohuk city center and in many villages which included (Zakho, Deraluk, Bersive, Derabon, Semel, Mesireke, Shiyoz, Kore gavana and Gondi Kosa).

 

As the families has expressed their thanks and gratitude for the initiative of our Society for the efforts of planting the smile and joy to face of children.
